Baby Seat Make Over

Summer has arrived with a big BANG!! its really scorching hot out in there,so make sure your take your daily needs of liquid to keep your body from getting dehydrated and try to stay away from the mid day sun and make sure you use your sun tan before stepping out.

So let's get onto our post for now, as you see this post is long over due for 2 years, I hate to say that and I feel really bad about it.

The seat had its cloth tattered and there was not much of padding in it. So I decided to give it a make over. First, I removed the cover from the seat and ripped of its seam and lay them piece by piece to get the measurements. This way we could get the dimensions exactly and avoid the hassle of measurements and calculations.

I didn't have nice padding or filling material so I used what was available. Can you guess what it is? I used a thick, and big bath towel as the lining material :). Cut the outer fabric and the padding material you're using with the same size as the dissembled old chair cover.

Sew the pieces together and a bias piping for the edges with a contrast color and you've got beautiful new baby chair with a unique cover just for your little one.

That's an easy way to give a baby chair makeover with a minimum sewing skills is all required to achieve this.

Hope you liked it and if you give it a try do let know I'd love to see how you did it. Till next time, take care and see you around.
