Alqudra Pond Lake

8:18 PM

Recently had my family visiting my 2 little M's, and we had great fun time having them around. This time we mainly did nature places to visits and old souks for shopping in contrary of spending time mostly at different mall. The beautiful family bonding fun time was outdoors rather than indoors.
One of the beautiful places we had a visited was a pond that is home for amazing species of birds, located in the  middle of the desert. A gem of a place, hidden from the busy buzzing world, that you cannot believe exists in a middle of nowhere desert, where children get to close interaction with the birds.

Almost one hour drive for us from the place we were staying, a long fun drive, a weekend well spent. It's located behind Al Qudra cycling track, which is one of the worlds largest designated cycle tracks, the 84km trail loops through the desert. So if you're heading out there don't forget to get your bicycles on or if not you can rent it out there. There's nice clean and neat, locker rooms with basic facilities. Wonderful place to have a nice barbecue gathering with friends and family. The day we went in there it was freezing cold, but the beautiful scenery was warm enough to enjoy. My little M guy didnt want to return from there, as he was fascinated by the amazing number of birds that he could almost touch with his tiny hands. Ducks, swan, geese and so much more adore this beautiful wonderland. Leaving you with few snaps of bird we caught in there.

Hope you enjoyed the post till next time, take care
